Southport Congregational Church is proud to welcome Dr. Henry Grayson to share in worship and a community discussion on Feb 27, 2011.  A psychologist, psychoanalyst, energy healer and pastoral counselor, Dr. Grayson has offices in both Westport and New York City.  A nationally sought after speaker and author, Dr. Grayson has co-authored three books: Three Psychotherapies: A Clinical Comparison, Short Term Approaches to Psychotherapy, and Changing Approaches to the Psychotherapies as well as numerous chapters and articles. More recently, he recorded a cd audio series for Sounds True, The New Physics of Love: The Power of Mind and Spirit in Relationships. He is also the author of Mindful Loving: 10 Practices to Deepen Your Connections. He has studied Eastern and Western Spiritual Philosophies, Quantum Physics, Neuropsychology and is developing new theories and practices for healing.  Late in February he will be sharing an evening conversation with Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of “Eat, Pray and Love” and then will be leaving on tour with his new lecture, parts of which he will be sharing with us.  We welcome members of our town community to share in these experiences.
