Overview:

The intimate connection between love and power is encapsulated in the phrase "Love Power." As the greatest life force known on earth, King Solomon states in the song of songs that "Love is strong as death." Known as the intelligence of the heart, the spritual practice of imagery unites power and love. Spend the day with three eminent teachers to explore this love power whereby, as Jimi Hendrix scribed, the "power of love overcomes the love of power" and experience greater awareness, freedom and joy.

Henry Grayson, Ph.D. : Love, Our Most Powerful Force

Love is often thought to be an insignificant therapeutic tool in dealing with life's problems. Yet, research shows it makes muscles stronger, the heart healthier, and the brain work more effectively; it clearly improves relationships and reaches out through the non-local mind to affect countless numbers of others about us. Whey then is love our greatest fear? Dr. Grayson founded the National Institute for the Psychotherapies and the Association for Spirituality and Psychotherapy. Author of Mindful Loving: 10 Practices to Deepen Our Connections and The New Physics of Love, he lectures widely across the U.S. and abroad.

Dr. Epstein is a pioneer in the use of mental imagery and integrative medicine for healing and transformation.  He has authored many books and CDs including the best seller Healing Visualizations. He is the Director of AIMI and maintains a private practice in NYC.

Power is the capacity to participate knowingly in change through being aware, making choices, feeling free to act on our intentions, and involving ourselves in creating change.  We have the option to turn off the hardened heart of power-as-control and turn on power-as-freedom that flows from an imaginative, loving heart.  Dr. Barrett is Professor Emerita, Hunter College, CUNY, and a Health Patterning Therapist in private practice in New York City, as well as a research consultant.  She is the author of over 100 publications.

Roundtable Moderator: E.H. "Rick" Jarow, Ph.D. : Heartstorming: a Q&A heart-to-heart conversation between the speakers and audience. Rick Jarow is Professor of Religious Studies at Vassar College. Author of many books and CDs including the Alchemy of Abundance, he lectures and gives workshops here and abroad.
